If anyone is interested this thread will allow you to hear the nasa officials performing their routine before launch. It's very cool.
I'm going to the open field at launch time to take photos. Hopefully it goes up. Weather is looking real good right now.
Night time launches are the coolest!!

Ok here are the pics. They're alittle blurry but you can see how bright it is. This is from 20 miles east of Kennedy Space Center.

Liftoff

BoosterRocks falling 2 minutes after liftoff

I just love the shuttle launches. This is the first night time liftoff in 4 years. They are just so neat and pretty!
