You know, one thing has always troubled me about these people. They live on about $1 a day, yet they all have huge family's. Seems to me that less children in a family would mean their money would go farther.

Actually, I think less children would mean fewer rock breakers in training and fewer times that $1/day coming in.

That's sad! It makes one stop and think about how lucky we are and how 'good' we really have it. It could be alot worse - like for these poor people.

And then on the news tonight (BBC story picked up by ABC) - Congo this time, kids as young as five, mining for copper and cobalt. abcnews.go.com/WNT/International/story?id=2717437&page=1 Supposedly 800 kids working at this one mine, owned by Metorex of South Africa. "No comment" from these scumbags. The three kids they focused on, added together, didn't make enough for one dinner, after a twelve hour day (36 hours!!!).
