Thank you so much for the nice birthday message! I am just busy cleaning house and getting ready to make an italian dinner for my family. Whew! To tell you the truth I will be glad when it's over and I can just sit back and relax! LOL!

i smell lasagna! lol, i used to love working for an Italian contractor, they really know how to make Christmas a feast. of course, the Brits do pretty well at Christmas time with all the pudding and brandy sauce and trifle and Christmas cake....i can't even bake cookies without the smoke alarm going off.
hope you get some relax time on your birthday, Debs! a toast to you on your special day...even if you did have to clean house!!!

Yes, there is plenty left for all who love italian! LOL! I made a few dishes from my fav italian chef on the foodnetwork named Giada. They turned out great and were so easy to make. In fact this tomato vegtable cassarole was so good I am going to make it again. They really do know how to eat and eat well! LOL! Did you know they also have a lot less health problems as they use a lot of olive oil in everything?
