I'm about to run out the door to get Mom to doctors appt.'s & stuff but wanted to see what everyone else did for New Years... First 2 pic's were just a couple of our regular crowd. It was a nice crowd w/very little drama. These were taken about 10 pm. Next 2 were of my staff for the night. The 2 boys were behind the bar & the girls were out on the floor. This last pic is of "Laurie". She started coming into my Pub about a year ago. Only on weekends & she always dresses to the 9's. (in fact...she makes almost all of her own clothes) Randy...if I ever get her to come to the Pub NOT in drag, she said she would bring some of her cars. You'd love them. Hot Rod type & she does all of them by hand. I've seen pics & they are fantastic! but she doesn't want to drive them when in drag for fear someone would destroy them. Anyhow...she is one of the more interesting characters we have! Happy New Year all!

Looks like fun. I just had a quiet evening of fondue with some friends while the Bears got their butts beat.

We went to my job and stayed about an hour and half, it was dead in the bar area and just a weird vibe, so we came home and watched one of the worst Space Needle New Year's I've seen in a long time. Seems the fella that decided on the music and the fella that put the fireworks together just couldn't get it together. I've seen better fireworks shows in the parking lots at the reservations on the fourth of july. I can't believe they spent alot of money for this year. But at least we weren't out with all the drunks and the cops, so it was good

We had 27 people over at our place on the 31st (11 of them kids under 12) and luckily we have our 3rd story loft so we weren't cramped at all - had lots of fun & made lots of messes!
So basically on the 1st... we cleaned up the mess of the 31st - oh and yeah played Karaoke on PS2 - I won!

Was eating at a truck stop at Kingman, Arizona. As I was paying the grumpy waitress said happy new year, I looked at the clock and it was 5 minutes after... I'd be grumpy too in that situation so she got a good tip anyway

And if it was the waitress I'm thinking of, I think she's grumpy all the time

Debs Luke and I stayed in and watched the fireworks on the box. London eye - quite impressive thinking of going down there next/this year. We had a good night - but I must admit - messing around in a pub still holds tonnes of appeal to me I did bar work for years on end so Ive worked plenty of new years eves - those nights with a "do" on are always the best. Us barstaff drinking hard and smoking ciggs like theres no tomorrow - ahhhhhhhhh those were the days. Great pics. Mark
