i was taking pics of the wind chimes i just finished and my mom said something about a huge herron. i kept saying i didn't see it and she said it looked like a big boulder.
do you see the white triangular looking thing way down the driveway where it curves (top left of pic)? that's him watching the water or maybe sunning but i imagine he's watching.
i tippy toed down the drive and he let me get right up on him before he flew. i tried to catch him flying as his wingspan was humongous but he sneaked across before i could capture him and is hiding on the other side of the drive now.
guess that means there are some fish in that bayou.
