Unfortunetly, Barbarow was put to sleep this morning. His vet said he was in misery and the owner finally made the decision to put him down. Another great one lost. Rest in peace and run the heavens free!! Tonja

I saw that in the news earlier. That was so sad. He certainly was a true athlete. Even when he broke his leg in the race he was still trying to finish. Lori

I truly believe he would have taken the Triple Crown. It is so sad for him to end this way but better that he's not in pain anymore.
