I just wanted to throw a shout out to Stoner and Neph to thank them for their hospitality during my short stay in the San Jose area over the past few days.
They are GREAT guys and it sure was fun putting a name to face and shaking some hands. Before I went to the Sharks game, I stopped by Ed's house for a few hours. He welcomed me in, showed me his incredible setup/rocks/saws and we chit-chatted over some cheese and crackers. It was awesome looking over his cabs in person. His stuff is amazing - especially his koroit's, but I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that!
After my business meeting the next day, he, Tony and I met in Downtown San Jose at one of Neph's old haunts. It was fun talking to them and hearing some of Tony's diving adventures. We had a great and relaxing dinner.
Thanks a lot to you, Tony and Ed, for making my short trip a memorable one. I hope I can drop by again if I'm in the area! You guys KNOW you are welcome at my house anytime. There's a world of things to see and do here and I've got some nice rock area picked out for when you do make it this way.
You guys are the best,
Thanks, Tim
PS......Ed the TSA officials had a heck of a time scanning those rocks you gave me. They must've looked 'em over 7 or 8 times before the Supervisor said, "they're just rocks, let him thru!!!!" LOL

It's always nice to meet members of this board in person. I'm glad I was able to be home when you arrived in San Jose on Tuesday. I had a great time as well sitting and talking to you on Tuesday and then again with Tony over dinner. I hope you've been inspired enough to get those tumblers going again. I know what you mean about the TSA people when they see rocks in your luggage, they always take a good look at my bag. If you're ever out here for another meeting let me know and we'll get together again.
It's been a nice start of the week for me. I finally got to meet sandsman in person on Monday and I had a good time talking with him too. So both of you are now off my list of Best friends I never met!
Oh, and by the way, thanks again for that great slab of dino bone, there's going to be some nice cabs being cut from that.
