That rock does not move anywhere anymore- It got set down in the case and everything else is moved around it. Cool thing about mica is when you handle it it leaves flakes everywhere- so you look like your covered in sparkles!

Love the pink stuff in the middle as well as the geodes. I remember mica... we use to get little pieces of it and peel off the layers one by one (like we had all the time in the world) ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Gaetz,,,,,,,,,, Be VERY careful with what you are doing here!! Although saving a rock here and a rock there may seem entirely harmless it can lead to another addiction!! MINERAL'S !! I saved one piece of jasper when I first started tumbling and I still have it.This led to examining every single tiny piece of rough I bought to see if there were any crystals on or in it. This led to me crawling into places where I can bearly fit ,need a head lamp to see and dragging a tool box full of tools to chip away at the walls to see if I can find any "treasures". It has also done irreparable damage to several credit cards! I now have an ever growing collection of minerals from as far away as the foot hills of Mt. Everest in Nepal!! Boy you are right- Thank goodness my sister is a geologist- so a lot of that stuff came free! Tweet The pink rock is one of the nicest deepest pink pieces of rose quartz I've ever seen- It is too nice to do cut or tumble (I have thought about it but cannot bring myself to do)
