Ok, I have to have someone else to blame......not me right? I've been making jewelry for awhile, then got back into rocks.....then got addicted to rocks......then started piddling with rocks and my jewelry and now........I sold that unakite necklace less than 24 hours after I made it.....(Randy's fault), now I want to buy every gemstone bead there is. I am literally fighting from pulling out the credit cards!!!!!!!!!! Ok, now that I've transfered the blame for this addiction to someone else........I feel better!

Me, too. I know how you feel. It's neat when some tourist wanders in where my tumblers are running and wants to see some finished ones, and then wants to buy one when I show him or her. It's like pumping fresh juice in your veins.

Don't blame me! I just got here. LOL
I've always liked rocks. To me when I was a kid any old rock was a treasure. I would take 'em out the driveway and my dad would put them back.
As an adult I got into beading first, then wire work. It's addictive but also very expensive and occassionally frustrating. I can't find what I want when I want it at the quality I want and a price I can afford. I'm moving up to the next level by learning to process my own stones. I don't know if it will cut down on the frustration level by giving me more options but I think the quality of my finished product will improve.
Have fun, Chinook!

Oh...and global warming? It's earthdog's fault! Also, I think he might have had something to do with the great Chicago Fire. But I'll shoulder my part of the blame for the rock stuff. I like them too.
