Thanks everyone, this was not a real surprise. Troy was on a heart transplant list for the last year and a half, he did not like to talk about it, thought he was invincible ya know. Our son, Zack, will continue using this sighn in name. I don't allow him to post, but he loves reading and looking at pictures on here! He won't even let me look at Troy's rocks and stuff, says they are his now, that's how Troy wanted it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the two of you. I think it is wonderful that there is something that meant so much to his father that Zack can share in. No one can take that away from him. There will always be rocks where ever he goes.

oh wow. I didn't know he had not been well so I'm greatly saddened for you & your boy.
Someday...when you think he's ready...I'm sure a bunch of RTH'rs would love to show him stuff his Dad learned. How awesome is that?
the circle goes on...

i am so shocked, saddened, tearful....i just have always told myself that when we move forward we get to do the things we love with a new gusto. like artists get to paint the sunsets and sunrises for us to see so when a new and beautiful rock gets found, i will be convinced troy got to design it.
i am so sorry for your loss. for our loss too. i touches my heart that zach is treasuring his dad's rocks. i hope you and zach stay on the board with us.
