;D Well, those darn boys. Just when you're poised to wring their scrawny little necks, they do something so unexpected and appreciated, you decide to keep 'em around for a few more years. My (college) son, 20, sent me half a dozen roses today, from himself and his girlfriend (bless her heart, I really thought it was her idea) Guess what, he did it himself! And he called to make sure the order was correct, 3 red and 3 white. (It was, and it is beautiful!). Made my day/week/month!! And my younger son (16) brought me a cheese quesadilla. With salsa! (One of my favorite foods). Please realize that he had to persuade a local cook to cook it, and then tell him HOW to cook it. He wasn't satisfied w/the bottled salsa, so he called a friend's mom and got a jar of her 'good stuff.' Oh, yeah, the older said he picked up a few rocks for me on his girlfriend's farm, and the younger left some very muddy ones on the kitchen table. Like I said, spooky boys. What a hoot! Maybe I'm doing something right?

They're about 10 steps ahead of me. I never got my mom anything for Valentines.

Awww....that was sweet, Karen. Good boys, at least yesterday. My youngest made me a card and gave me a piece of hard candy. The oldest stopped traffic for me so I could pull out of our road without getting caught behind his school bus. Does that count? ;D

Your best reward is knowing that you are doing the right things with your boys.
