I saw a lot of pics on the net of the recent huge lake-effect snows in upstate New York, but this one emailed to me by a friend (who had it sent to her from another friend...) is the best I've seen by far. It is NY state route 11, in Oswego county. Ron would love this, he'd be snowmobiling well into summer! ;D

LMAO--- Yea Don we had like HALF that much!!! Still a cool photo! I had a friend who just got back from Snowmobiling in Oswego county- She was talking about the PILES in peoples yards- Guess they are shoveling off the roofs and leaving Piles in the yard that are taller than the houses!!!

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite
