That is some impressive work. Did I read it right that he's going to try pinstriping rocks? That sounds like a really interesting experiment. Can't wait to see pics.

Pretty sweet E-Dog. Reminds me of Jim Carnifax's work.. local legend here. Nothing compares to hand painted stripes!

That is so cool. I miss paint jobs like that. Seems like hand painted pin stripes are a lost art around here. These so called artist here seem to think if it isn't a sticker they order from a catalog then it's more trouble than it's worth. Doesn't mean they charge any less for it though.

It's gonna be sweet. Thats not all he is doing. There is pin striping on top of the tank and on the sides of the tank, on my back fender below my brake light and on the two side covers there will be more pin striping. I will most definitely need alot more chrome this year along with darker sun glasses. Almost a show bike. Think of the chicks that'll want a ride... ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

It was filthy, finger prints all over it. Ask Takila I am pretty anal about keeping it clean. I normally spend an hour cleaning it and polishing the chrome before I ride to the store for ten minutes. Even the guys at work give me crap for after work I have to break out the feather duster and dust it off before I can ride home. Big Nick is going to put a good coat of glaze on it before it's ready to leave his shop. I didn't know it but he said wax will kill a paint job, paint has to breath and glaze will let it breath.

Cripes, I've been tumbling, tumbling, tumbling those dam rocks. Major disappointment with so many fractures and chips. I smashed a bunch of rocks with a hammer the other night, just 'had it' with 'em. I bought a dremel for grinding and hopefully drilling, so the grinding is working on the rocks and also on my nerves. Snowdog warned me about protective gloves for grinding, and I've seen lots of unprotected bad grinding injuries at work. So I wore gloves--the wrong kind and too big. Lucky I have a finger left on my left hand. So it's a love--hate thing with the grinder. And I've been dog sitting too, cripes, you saw how tiny my home is, I've got 4 big Weimaraners here while the owners are in Maui. They call me from the beach to check on the dogs--I can actually hear the waves and ocean breeze--another kind of torture all together. Oh yeah--and I've been working. Like for money. Right now my life sort of sucks.
And don't nobody be rolling any fatties without me!!!!!

Oh it ain't that bad. You still have a Harley to ride on. I have to say because Takila said the pictures look like the pin striping looks too bright. I rolled it out today to go for a ride and now she says the pin striping looks great, not to intense in the sun light. Today I went out to my dealer and got some more chrome and when I came out there were 15 dudes around my bike looking at the paint. I thought the bike fell over or something and they were looking at the damage. Turns out they all liked the striping..
