No wait, how does that go? Neither rain nor SNOW sleet nor hail will stop the US Mail ... But snow sure will!! They need to change their slogan, cause the mail couldn't get through to northern Minnesota today. ;D

Hey Cher, I know what you mean about the mailman. Only letters were delivered today and no packages. Our entire state in Iowa has been declared a disaster state. Many people have been without power for a week. Can you imagine that? There are still about 16,000 throughout the state that don't have power. Some of the power they were able to restore was knocked out in the storm last night. Our power never went out so far. Thank god as I would worry about my pets and keeping warm. How is the weather up there Cher?

Well, it's that gloom of night part that gets 'em. Every time!

HAHAHA Joe! That gloom of night is even during the day time. I can't remember when the last time the sun was out. It has been so cloudy and hazy around here for awhile now. Like looking at the white noise on a tv screen! LOL!

Hang in there, spring is coming! I've had snow on the ground here since a week before Christmas. I MUST believe it will melt. I must...

I am so sore today from shoveling I can barely move but the sun's shining and it is sooo nice to see. I should keep on shoveling, just moving snow from one spot to the other, maybe by the time it melts I'll be ready to start mowing. ;D It is good exercise if you don't over do it.
I sure don't envy you guys in Iowa, hope they get the power restored soon too. It's terrible to be without power in the winter, I really worry about the elderly at times like this. I followed my friend yesterday to another neighbor's across the street to make a path to her door. She gets Meals on Wheels and they couldn't get into her house.

Snow, sleet, rain, sunshine, it really doesn't make any difference. I have a 5k generator wired into my system. Don't know what I'd do without it. Probably freeze to death! Hey Cher, I don't shovel snow anymore. I figure if God put it in my driveway, then God can get it out! Of course, I realize that not everybody can afford to wait for that. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Ron
