![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v730/OneBuck/070304033314.jpg) Was able to buy this telescope, a solar filter, and several accessories for my middle school students after having sold beef jerky for the last three months. Condor

That's cool, how often do you get together with your students at night so they can use it?

Cool! Those Orion scopes are nice. Is that the 6 or 8"? I've been wanting one of the 8" ones for years but I can't afford to get it and all the toys I want to go with it. ;D

Cher, I just got it, but plan on having star parties at least twice a month. Ibowman, it's an eight incher. Well worth the price. LWRH, sorry I won't be taking it out there, but I plan on picking your brain a lot while there and through PMs. You know a lot about this stuff so I hope you won't mind.

I never mind talking astronomy! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I have the caddy in the shop and I hope it gets fixed because if I have to bring the little Buick, then my 8 inch scope will prolly have to stay behind. I have 70mm refractor though.
