I got an account on Napster a few months back to load music on all my mp3 players. $14 a month for unlimited downloads. Anyway I have been in this 80's kick the last week or so, listening to stuff like Kajagoogoo, Thomas Dolby, the Tubes, Peter Gabriel, Men at Work and even Hall and Oates. Does anyone else remember them or am I alone on this one. Hey at least I'm admitting to listening to it. Oh and also listening to a manly band that never gets old to me,,, Blackfoot! Man, the memories of the 80's, back when the only thing that was important was getting a bar stool for $.25 tap beer, getting high, and not having enough time for all the women there was...

The 80's is all I will ever listen to!! I must admit that most of my collection is the Monster Rock of the "big hair bands" - the bad boy love songs are great too. My wife and I really connect to this kind of music as we met at a roller skating rink, cruising around the floor to all the great stuff. Every time we hear a good 80's song play, it brings back all the great memories of our youth - would love to go back to that time!!!

Loved the 80's I used to use napster when it was free. Now I get most of my music from newsgroups. It is free and I can d/l much faster from them. They have a group dedicated to the 80's alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.1980s

With the music scene the way it is today even teenagers are listening to the older stuff now... They just don't make 'em like they used to. Rock on E!

the 80's to me was all about Phil Collins. i guess i had a bit of a "rebirth" to music in the 80's (guess that REALLY dates me, eh?). but another 80's tune that i really liked was "No More Lonely Nights" by an old rocker (Paul McCartney). Tina Turner was back with a vengence in the 80's, absolutely loved her comeback stuff and she is STILL sexy for an old broad...
Floyd came out with the remake of the Wall in 80? 81? something like that. incredible decade for music.
ok, gonna really date myself here, my first live concert was in July,1971, Black Sabbath and i'm still an Ozzy fan, old decrepit hippy that he is now.
