This website is compliments of one of those crazy storm chasers. The tornado was 30 miles north of where I live, and was not the only one that night. Lots of damage in the vicinity, but our town and surrounding 15 miles were lucky. Amazing photos of a night-time tornado, which missed the town of Grant somehow. Hit a few country places, caused lots of property damage (center pivot sprinkler systems are pretty pricey, and we're not sure how many are twisted into spaghetti!), but nobody was hurt. Thank goodness! Here's the link: www.extremeinstability.com/07-3-28.htm

Karen, I'm so glad it missed you. I think storm chasing is cool too, but scary. It would sure be an adrenalin rush!

Yep, I watched the video first; I had to laugh at the end, when the geese flew over! Freaked Geese! I've got some pix at work (the newspaper office) of some area farms that were hit, and I might try and post them tomorrow when I update the paper's website. Everyone is just so thankful that there were no injuries.

Here's the link to our newspaper's website, with 3 stories concerning the tornadoes. All 3 are on the 'front page'. www.imperialrepublican.com/
