My parents had an above-ground pool and now that I've been gone for a long time, they hardly ever use it but they keep it clean anyways. We decided to get an in-ground pool - new house and no backyard deck yet and an above-ground pool would require a raised deck (which we didn,t want)
So if we were getting an in-ground pool we wanted one that was big enough - so we,re getting a 16x32 foot pool - not quite rectangular shape but close.
I doubt they'll find any rocks when they dig as there's only clay around here but watch they'll hit the mother of all rocks and we'll end up with a very large wadding pool because of that!
Hopefully we'll get this for early June - so we can use it lots this year - we're also getting fenced in - We're now officially poor & indebted up the wazzoo!

The one before "still winter" and during "roadwork" - swimming season is between July 1st and July 15!

Pools are so fun! My dad and step-mother had an in-ground pool in S. Calif. when I was a teenager. I had some awesome tans back then!

Wiz i knew it was you who had one put in - they told us between 4 & 10 days for a pool - the landscaping will be after that - we'll have to put the pool along the length of the yard instead of like yours (which I would have preferred but the lot is not wide enough) I like yours....

Nope we're scheduled for the first or second week of June - They're forecasting snow for tomorrow with only 4 degrees above freezing here - Maybe swimming season does only last a week or so here in Canada
