Well, Tami had her 3rd ( and hopefully last) surgery today to remove the rest of the tumor from her right cheek. They really cut her open big this time. She's swollen and hurting.
Her job ( where I got fired from) said they were taking up a collection for her to help defray the costs. She gave the info to the General Manager as asked and the woman said she'd mail the check to the doctor since "It is such a large check". Now mind you they've known this for 3 weeks. When we were there today, guess what? NOTHING had been deposited to her account ( go figure). So, she is pretty down right now.
So if all goes well we are going on a camping trip on Monday, depending on how she is feeling.
Shoot up more prayers that they got it all this time. I don't know if she can mentally handle another surgery.

sounds pretty hokey about the "check", i hope the donations end up where they were intended. hope the healing begins and that you have a great camping trip. thanks for letting us know what's been happening!

Thanks for letting us know Lesa. Poor Tami, having to endure all that plus the worry, I hope and pray they got it all this time. And that really sucks about the check, I'd talk to some of the people who donated, they'll get on it. Or post an open notice at work to thank everyone for sharing and caring then explain the money was never received. Someone somewhere will get their arse in big trouble. Now what about you Lesa, have you had your's checked recently?

Well we decided to stay home. Her face is still very swollen and she's been running a fever. I told her to call the doc this morning and get some anti biotics.
As far as the donation goes, its a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. If she doesn't say thanks she's an ass, if she does how does she tactfully explain thanks for the thought the money never arrived. If she contacts the owner who got the ball rolling she's libel to get fired by the morons running the joint.
As far as my BCC, I haven't been able to get it treated yet, gonna have to wait till hers is all done.

WE JUST GOT THE WORD THEY GOT ALL THE CANCER WITH THIS LAST SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!
