Should be a lot of fun. You said you will be using the salt system instead of chlorine. What is the salt system? I have never heard of that before......MrP

We used salt in ours because chlorine gives me a rash and turns my hair green When we had ours it was a bit more to run the a reg system but well worth it. Have fun and keep safe. Steph

MrP the salt system uses salt to keep the water clean - since salt is sodium chloride the machine transforms the salt into chlorine (minute amounts) - the water tastes a bit salty & dosn't burn clothes & turn hair to straw
It look less than 24 hours to fill the pool with 4 garden hoses - we could have gotten a truck but the $500 we saved will go towards landscaping & pool noodles - we had to only partially fill it so they could remove the succion device & make the necessary holes for the filters & such.
Cina, the salt is becoming more popular now (hubby is an idiot with products - this will prevent him from goofing with the products) Ours came included with the pool (but it is about $2K)
Ron my mom had the truck come in for hers and ended up with little metal parts in her pool that rusted out the liner - we're not on well water or we would have had to have the tanker - this worked out fine and the kids were in it even before it was filled out - we had a storm last night & there's lots of dirt in there now - they come to open the pool tomorrow - we had a system put in that controls everything - how much salt is in there, the water temp, outside temp, time - it looks like a little breaker box - and we have a remote inside with a touchpad - we can turn the lights on or off from inside... pretty cool - the electrician was great - he even installed a light & switch in the shed, + a GFI plug on the shed outside AND brought me lots of copper wire too
