I think we all need to learn to speak Spanish pretty quick. I'm telling ya, I'm going to the mountians, but my neighbor will probably be from Mexico in a few years. This crap makes me sick. Why don't we just hand over the country to them now and get it overwith now.

we paid beaucoup bucks, filled out all the forms, did all the interviews (including required XRAYS and answering extremely personal questions) for my husband to get his green card and then another whole year of fingerprinting, more interviews, photographs, review of all our tax records to culminate in his approval of citizenship......
i'll be pissed if they make it easier at this point!!!!!!!!

Well I have no idea what those knuckle heads are thinking. Connecticut has been one screwed up state for quite some time. We have more elected officials in jail than any other state; including our former governor. There hole justification for the id cards make no sense to begin with it seems like a big waste of time and money. I know I won't accept them as a form of id at my work. Some bodies unemployed brother in law must need a job and this is what they came up with.

i was just talkin to the game warden and he told me they have to take new special courses here because they are on call to aid local police against the Mexican drug runners that are moving this way faster then they can control so they have been giving them like a quickie swat course so they will at least have an idea what too do when the shooting starts -- BUT LETS OPEN THE DOOR FOR THEM TO SET UP THERE DRUG CARTELS HERE SO IT WILL BE EASY-ER FOR THEM TO COMPLETELY RUIN OUR COUNTRY
I'M GONNA STOCK UP ON SOME NEW HEATERS AND ALL THE BULLETS I CAN AFFORD ---- i thought i was gettin away from all this sh-t when i left the old ways but i see soon it will be everywhere and these druggies have no respect or loyalty like it was back there anyone is fare game-- I'm sorry i got rid of the three unmarked pieces when i was leavin i fig i wouldn't need them where i was goin but i was very wrong shoulda held on to them and shoulda bought a bandoleer of hand grenades for the road haha
i say let them get id cards and put there addys on there and two weeks later go around with the bus and pick everyone of the criminals up and deport there a$$ back where they came from and let them apply like everyone else had to and still has to --and after the 3rd time there found here without the right papers they should be deported to iraq they cant sneak back in from there

I'm an immigrant. I had to have my gender certified by an INS approved doctor for crying out loud. Why could *I* have got a card for that.

Let me say, I don't have a problem with Mexicans in general, only the illegal ones.
I work with alot of Mexicans. They are hard working, good people.
I start having a huge problem with them when they try to sue me in a court of law, when they take jobs for less than half the wage a legal citizen would do the job for, when they steal and use an ID or a social securty number of a legal citizen so they can find a job, or when they try and get benifits, like welfare that legal citizens are paying for.
I have a problem when they try so hard to get here then they fly a Mexican flag above the US flag. How about when they demand citizenship? Thats some of the problems I have with it.
Not that their country sucks so bad they will try anything to get here to better themselves. In general they are good people.
I just wanted to sorta clear that up before I am called a bigot or a person with hatred towards another race.

i hear ya earth and didnt think other wize -- i dont have anything against mexican people my prob is with illegals of any race no one is special i was haulin freight and one of my stops in oxford circle was run by a good friend and i walked in one day and he had two new guys workin so we started talkin and he says there russian here on student visa's and there not aloud to work there supposed to have a sponsor thet will house and feed them wile there here in school well there uncle signed the papers and got them here and they where only here to work -- well i said to him you just cut out two guys or gals from this neighborhood from a job to help an illegal person to stay here --- i hope nobody turns you in and for the record i think your a sh-t for doin it to save a few bucks --- well he let them work acouple weeks and let them go --- i dont care where anyone is from doit right like most of our familys had to do acouple generations ago

Yep.... None of this would be a problem if our government would simply control the borders, enforce the existing immigration laws and get rid of NAFTA!! The situation is bad for everyone... including the illegals.. NAFTA has taken away the abilty of the Mexican peasant to support their families so they feel forced to cross the borders to find work. If we get rid of the incentives to come here then they would stop. We just can't seem to get our elected representatives to listen and do something! I blame them... and I certainly don't blame Jim for being pissed off about it and I don't think you're a bigot. Then again I don't blame the Mexicans either... I would do the same thing if I were in those shoes...  It's a bad situation for the people of both countries.. I just hope we can find a solution that works for all.... |
