Just want to wish all you Dads out there a happy father's day!
I lost my Dad almost 2 years ago and I miss him terribly... especially today.
Cherish the time you have with your fathers and children... let them know they are loved.... today and every day.

Thanks Dan. Smoking a 14# brisket on the propane smoker this morning. I'm gonna make the 2 kids cut the grass and bring me iced tea while I sit and watch them do yard work! What a great day this will be, watch the kids work and eat smoked meat all evening... I'm also gonna have Takila rub my feet while I drink my iced tea.

Thanks Dan,
I also lost my Dad, about six years ago, and I miss him so much. A couple of years after he had passed away, I had stopped at the "Thing" near Tucson, Arizona to get gas, and there was a man there also getting gas who had a strong resemblance to my father. My wife looked at him, my kids looked at him, and I couldn't believe it. My wife went up to him inside the store while I was putting gas and told him about it. He came up to me and and said how he felt happy that he reminded me of my Dad. He told me, "he will always be with you, just like I am here." Sorry, don't mean to put turn this into a downer. I know my family is up to something. Looking forward to see where they will surprise me for lunch.

Thanks Dan,
Reading your posts I picked up the fone and talked to my father, even if we don't celebrate here any Father's Day.

Christa took me out to a nice breakfast of steak and eggs this morn. Talked to my kidlets earlier and I'll be givin' Pops a jingle after he gets out of church. I got a coarse recharge to do with one tumbler today, and the other is ready for polish (finally). So far it's a wonderful day!
Happy Father's Day to all you Poppas out there! ;D
