My first lilly bud sprouted a couple days ago then Sunday, like a Fathers day gift, it opened for me to show me it's beautiful pink pedals, gorgeous bright yellow stamen. The lilly is on the far side of the pond so I couldn't bend down to smell the fragrant, sweet nectar of the flower without falling in. The pond is stil looking pretty bare but wait another month, Oh and my 14# brisket smoking. It turned out so tender and juicy. Everything is better when it's juicy, right?

i almost missed the pretty flower and the smoking meat ....both look yummy. but i think it would have been funnier is Takila took a picture of you falling in while trying to smell the flower. KD

I really don't know what I enjoy most: the gorgeous flower, the cute fish or the tasty steak.
By the way, there's a little room left on your grill, it seems just enough for that fish ;D
