Wow......... We got 1/2 inch of rain. It was great. The only good thing about no rain in months is no grass to mow. The yard grass....weeds look like it is still winter time here. We are 14.8 inches behind in rain here in western Georgia. It is funny that even the "running weed" kudzu is hurting. We do need the rain. Be careful to always wish for sunshine. Take Care ! We are pretty low on rain here in Florida, too, so much so that many of the wells in our area are going dry. Ours is supposed to be one of the deeper ones but still, I worry.
And in one of those ironic moments sent by Mother Nature--it is lightning and thundering right now BUT IT STILL ISN"T RAINIING! Argh. :-(
Maybe if all the Floridians and all the Georgians got together and did one huge rain dance...what do you think, Frank?

We just went through a 2 year drought. Finished both years 20-30 inches short. Now it won't stop raining. The ground is so saturated that huge oaks and pines are falling over when the wind blows. Gainsville had a flash flood that killed several people. Bridges are out all over the place. I love getting the rain, but sheesh, a few days without rain would be nice.

You guys can get our rain - we got 6" of rain in 7 minutes here - hail too the size of my thumbnail - couldn't see outside, it looked like a white curtain was drawn - we were grocery shopping, the drain couldn't absorb the rain so I stood in 6" of very cold water to load the groceries in the car. now my good shoes are toast!
You can get our rain - my pool is useless & freezing
