You know, there are still graduates from the Ray Charles School of Driving. Stevie Wonder is planning on starting a Truck Driving School, specializing in prescision driving.

This reminded me. My mother doesn't drive, but she has a state issued ID card, handy for cashing checks, etc. The card is issued by the Driver Services Offices here. A few years ago she gets a notice to renew the card and she goes to get it renewed. The clerk prcoesses the renewal and then asked my mother to go to the vision test machine for the eye test. My mother thought this was odd for just an ID card and asked why. It turned out that for the last renewal they gave her a full drivers license instead of just the ID card!

Nope WM7734 that is why, my mom is blind so she always has answers to these questions!
If a blind person were to be driven by a sighted person and the blind person were in the back seat they could use the ATM without the sighted person knowing their PIN number. (whether or not the sighted person, or anyone else, is peeking is a different story.)

Not all ATM machines are in drive-thru locations. It would add too much to the cost of making ATMs if some were to be restricted to just those locations where the user would have to drive up to the machine and others would be just for where the user could walk or propel up to the machine. So all ATM machines in the US must also provide braille keypads. And then of course, they do come in handy at the drive-thru locations for all those shouldn't-be-on-the-road drivers who are blind as bats! Lady B
