Up here in New England, we feel we have the worst, most fickel weather around. We just wallow in self-pity! It seems to me that we are just full of it.
Take this summer, we've had a few days that were 90 and humid, but mostly its been 75-85 for a high , dry, and cool evenings for sleeping. No droughts, no widespread watering restrictions, no tornedos, and just a few scattered and limited thunderstorms.
Winters have been mild, rarely getting below 10 degrees F. for long periods.
Fall has been great as usual but extending into December.
We have even had some spring weather during the past two years.
I am miserable that we have nothing to complain about. No drought, not too hot, no wildfires, no tornedos; positively dull beautiful weather and more on the way.

maybe in Massachusetts you've had mild winters, but we had so much snow we were running out of room to put it last year. my grass this year is so dry and brown even the torrential rains the past few days couldn't revive it.
a little further south of us, they spotted a funnel cloud and thousands of people locally were without power.....
ok, so we didn't have any wildfires and it IS kinda nice out there today, but i couldn't let an opportunity to complain about the weather pass me by!

We finally got some much needed rain over the past few days, I've been watering the lawns praying not to lose more grass than I did last year but I just got my water bill so I might have to change my mind on that. We have gotten about 1.5 inches now tho so that will help immensely. Seems so unfair, we're begging for water and other places are begging for it to go away ... someone needs to have a chat with Mother Nature.

I can't complain about the weather this year at all... We've had it pretty good this Summer here in Houston. It's been very mild for this time of year... it's still HOT during the day but in the evenings it cools off nicely where last year it was still unbearably HOT at 9:00pm. I'm even using the WorkForce outside in the back yard after work.... very pleasant. Dan

Last year at this time I had picked a bushel of tomatoes, tonight there is not one green and not even one trying to grow, the blooms come out and rot off. The corn around here is so stunted no one (the elevators) will accept any, what wheat was left from the late freeze is rotting in the fields because it is too wet to cut what should have been cut a month ago.
Two years ago everyone was worried about the aquifer, now ground water flowed in the basement for five days and we are higher than most in town
We have not had more than seven days over 80 in three months. Global warming, my Aunt Fannie.
