If he won't give you an answer the nice way; send me a PM and I can share some info with you. It would not surprise me to hear that this had something to do with health care costs; is the companies insurance coming up for renewal soon?

Well, the boss is refusing my calls. He won't talk to me! I am doing MUCH better though. I feel good and I know in my heart there is something different out there for me. (I choose to use the word different instead of better because 'better' is what I think is good for me and 'different' is just whatever happens). I cleaned up my shop, worked on the lawn and will do some cabbing tomorrow!
I have filed for unemployment, sent a written request for my employee file and will call the EEOC to make a claim.

Jeez. Sheri, what a blow for you. I am glad you have done the above, requesting info etc.
Sometimes it seems like life heaps bad junk on someone over and over again, for no reason! I always wonder how people cope.
But then, I remember some of the junk my family has endured. Compared to others, it is not so terrible. It has seemed bad enough, at the time, over the years. But I am thankful for so much. I rely on our family mantra when things get really bad. For whatever it's worth, here ya go. It's simple, but so far, it's been true.
We have found that things happen for a reason. Sometimes it takes years for that reason to become clear, but there really, truly is always a reason.

Just wanted to let you know you are being sent good wishes. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. And it sounds like your boss is having a problem right now, too. I am hoping you get to your "something different" real soon.

I'd sue him personally, sue the company for unlawful dismissal. It's worth it for a company to settle than to go to court. You can claim sexual harassment (that's always worth big bucks), discrimination against women and probably the real reason of medical problems.

Geez Sheri, I just reread this thread and coulda sworn I left you good wishes and prayers. Sorry I'm behind. How are things? Hope your something different is just around the corner.

I did get a part time job today! I will be just fine for now! Prayers work!! I will continue to look for something full time. Life sometimes gets a little rough but it always gets different quickly.
A quick update on the other............ all quiet on the homefront. He is leaving me alone. I am happy again! And very peaceful!!

You know, I was sitting here thinking................how thankful I am that there is a God! He may be called something else to some people but I am so grateful.
I have overcome a horrible childhood, alcoholism, cancer, bad marriages, job loss and I am so happy today. Only because there is a God! You know, I have learned that sometimes in life bad things happen but if I sit and wallow in self pity than I will get nowhere. I just pick myself up, ask God for help and then carry on! The poem "Footprints" comes to mind, there has been many times when there has only been one set of footprints in the sand in my life. He has been carrying me since I got back from the Blitz! I asked to be put down today and he did. Now he just needs to hold my hand and walk with me!
