Peruvian Paso and I've only had him for a week...he has gained some and decided to ride him today, as it wasn't raining! lol...anywho...here is my poor Patron who is awesome in my book! I truly love this horse and look forward to his recoup! and no...I'm not that fat! lol....

Beautiful horse! Are those colourful trappings around his head your "wrapping"? I like the second pic, the horse has such an elegant attitude! And the rider matches! Adrian

Thanks ya'll. To me he is pretty...yet he needs a couple more 100 lbs to be in shape. I graze him every day on a long rope while I sit in a chair. I keep increasing the time each day around 10 min. This keeps him from getting sick. He isn't use to grass is why. Anywho, we have gotten to know each other pretty well too. lol... He is a gaited horse. When you ride him, he is smoooooooooth as glass. It is just awesome! I'm a happy camper (incase you couldn't tell). Oh yeah...the rainbow on his head is his new halter. I don't usually go for that flashy stuff...but it just seemed to suit this guy. I left it on, cause he has never been ridden without a bit and to me it tells the horse I am still boss. Silly maybe, but that's me. I have trained all my horses to ride without bits. I hate them and to me a horse is really trained if you don't need one. ;D The previous owners wacked his forelock off...looks dumb...but it'll grow...poor guy. His main and tail are very long and wavy. I love that! Today I will spray them with a conditioner and brush em out...again. lol....

Anywho, when he is in the best shape I can get him...I'll take more pics...hmmmm....me thinks I need to get in better shape myself! lol... Truthfully, I only weigh around 135...I need to lose around 15 pounds. ack! It is soooo hard at my age. phooey.
