Haven't been around much but thought I'd drop in and say hi Well we have moved into our new house, its fantastic and the kids are loving it after being cooped up in a third floor condo for 5 months, they are loving having their own rooms again and a garden, they have school friends who live in the same street so have plenty of people to play with I'll have to set up a new account before I can post any pictures as its been too long and villagepeople closed it. I've still not bought a tumbler as we have to many other things we need first because we didn't bring any furniture from England so we have to buy important things like beds first (it begins to get annoying sleeping on a blow up bed for 6 months but we will get there ! Did anyone go and see Transformers yet - its well worth it. We took the kids because it was one of their birthdays, they loved every minute. It really made you feel like you were 10 again while watching it

Congrats on the move! There's something about being able to settle into your own home. The temporary stuff really gets to you after a while. Saw Transformers. Loved it!

Hi Rose, Good to know you are finally getting settled, I can well imagine the kids are having fun being able to run, must be a relief for Mom too .... maybe a little quiet time?

Hi Rose, sounds like your move went very smoothly, I'm glad you're getting comfortable. We're starting to get somewhat comfortable in our new house too.

Hi Rose - make sure you get a tumbler in when youve got time etc.
I'm in a similar "non tumbling" situation at the moment - too much going on etc.
Good to hear from you - glad things are going well.
Cheers Mark

Thanks everyone, good to catch up. We are pretty much settled in and its feeling like home now. My parents are over for a visit at the moment but leave on Friday , think its going to really hit me when they go as this visit was planned before we left England so I had a time to count down to when I would see them again.

Welcome to the North American continent! Moving is hard, even if it's only 5 miles like we did in 2000. You had so much more to deal with! Wowza! Talk about leaving everything and everyone behind. My thoughts and best wishes to you, gal! Take some time and go find some Kick A** rocks for your mental health.
