Well so far the summer here has been very crappy! - I've already had to do two backwashes in the past 4 days to remove 2 inches of water from the pool (that I've only swam in about 5 times since early June) AND I'm gonna have to do another backwash one again tonite!
We've had rain almost every single day of July and a good part of June - some very brief rainfall of 5 minutes of either drizzle or torrential rainfalls to raining all day with either fine rain or massinve downpours.
Today is downpour-all-day day - the sky is grey (as it has been for the past few days and the rain keeps coming) My grass is flooded and my neighbor keeps talking about water gulleys & rain drainage… Every single time it rains!
I'm really looking forward to having some nice sit-out-on-the-deck-and-swim-in-the-pool weather and that just hasn't happened yet - it's horrible weather.
I know some of you are going throught drought weather but here it's rained so much, everyone's feet has grown webbing
I know that if we can get some nice weather for the rest of the summer this horrible weather will be forgotten, but not as it sits now
Where's the sun! Sorry had to vent!

I know how you feel................when you live where you get 4 seasons, especially cold and dreary winters, you want to be able to have nice sunny and warm/hot summers! Our summer has actually been nice for us. We've had a few hot days here and there, but we've not had any long streaks of hot weather.

If I knew how to do the Rain-Dance-in-Reverse to make it all go away, I would teach you the steps. I surely would.

We got another 3-4 inches of rain just today - had to do another backwash! I'm backwashing the pool more than I'm swimming in the darn thing - now with all the rain I hafta add another 40 pounds of salt to the pool to get it going again.
