Daniel/deb163 knows - you can find the spoilers all over the internet, but please don't post them (I've already gotten too many ideas and don't want to REALLY know until I actually read it)

I'm with Tweetiepy on this one. Please do not spoil the story for those who are reading the book first page to last. It might be hard to understand, for those of you who aren't into the whole Harry Potter phenomenon, what this last book means for devoted Muggles, but to those of us who are invested in the series, this FINAL book is very important and very precious. Revealing info about the outcome would be like telling someone what is inside every giftbox before they even had a chance to remove the ribbons. The gifts would still be great gifts but the excitement and wondrous anticipation would have been destroyed. Thanks for being understanding and considerate of us Potterites. Lady B

I'll agree Stefan, I'm satisfied - and not left hanging wanting more (although more would be wonderful too!)

Hey, did you all hear that J.K.Rowling is planning to write/publish a Harry Potter encyclopedia? She wants to provide more info on characters whose storyline just couldn't be completed in the books and will also provide background info on origins of spells and tools etc. So I guess we will have something to look forward to afterall.

I would like spinoffs of other characters... that would be cool. Not just an encyclopedia... but like a whole book on Remus, Tonks, Bill and Charlie Weasley... etc. that would be neat!!

Anyone know if Bill will be normal now that Greyback Fenhir is dead (is he dead - it doesn't really say?)
Actually she had two books that she wrote for Comic Relief - Quidditch through the ages & Magical Creatures. The quidditch one is kinda interesting - can't find the other one.
I'm doubtful she'll write anything else on the lives of these characters - she'd only give us all false hopes...
But I've never read anything so wonderful - nothing she has mentioned has been put in for nothing - all her inclusions are relevant at some point (ie. when Harry ends up in Nocturn Alley & he reads about the "Hand of Glory" - this comes into play in book 6 - the whomping willow is crashed into in book 2 and is important in book 3) stuff like that - there are no small useless details...

Here's the link about J.K. and the encyclopedia. I hope she does plan to complete it. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19935372I also love how she uses words in such a clever way. I think I was into Book 3 (which means I had read the story line at least 4 or 5 times by then) when I suddenly saw "Diagon Alley"--diagonally-- which is a clever way of telling us that even when we are looking head on things are not always what they seem. I am going to miss not only Harry and all his fellow characters. I am going to miss Rowling herself. Lady B

No need to miss JK- SHe will continue to write- it's what she does!!! I don't think even she expects to have a hit like HP again- but I'm sure we will see more of her in the future!
