Goin' campin'. Should be back Wed. Behave while I'm gone, no fighting or wild parties. Oh, and don't answer the door to strangers.

Hope he has better luck at this campsite than he did the last! And at the very least...God help the idiot that tosses some trash on the ground in his presence...he'll have the spirit of us all behind him on that one.

Me and my buddy Ray went up to Lockett Meadow which is about 10 miles from our house. (at least as the crow flies) No houndin' up there, just relaxin'. It is all volcanic, lots of basalt, not much else. Lockett Meadow (foreground) and the Inner Basin and the San Francisco Peaks (background) This baby had one hell of a blast 300,000 years ago. Camp! Ray - realxing can get pretty tiring Buddies! Lots of rain, and a few lightning stirkes that were a little too close for comfort. Good to be home with the missus now. Thanks for lookin'!

Baz, That looks very Relaxing and considerably cooler than here. Your camping spot is perfect! Any fishing, rockhunting...or just laying around and taking a nice break from everything. Steve

Steve - Yep, just lying around taking a break with occasional walks through the meadow. Along with a *hiccup* 1:00 AM jaunt with a bright moon out. KD - Those rodents are pretty tame. Too tame for my liking. They are fat and happy from all of the campers feeding them. They will come right up to you if you hang out long enough.
