;D Yesterday afternoon I was working in the garage when the two neighborhood 5 year olds rode up on their bikes. They said they were playing cops and invisible robbers and wanted to know if I saw where the bad guys went!! It was so funny but I couldn't think of a good "wise guy" remark to say. I just pointed down the culvert and said "there". The bad guys were apprehended within a minute! So can any of you think of a good comeback?? ;D

"Well, I didn't actually see them, but I smelled something fishy down in the culvert."

And here I thought this was a serious thread after the news report last night....In Newport, Oregon a store owner called in the cops after she was handed what she considered to be a counterfit travelers check, the holographic image was clearly pasted onto a a reproduced check. The cop looked at it called some number and then told the store owner to take the check. Naturally the check came back as fake.

My reply, "We don't stay invisible all the time. RAAAHHHHHHH!" And then I would chase them and duck and hide behind things. Kids are great! They love it when adults play along with them.

Ooo, you folks think of some good stuff! Yes Mike, that would have gone over well! The kids are fun and it's great to hear them play while I cut stones. The older ones ride their bikes over the bumps of the culvert and tell me they are "BMXin'". I'm not quite sure what that is but they have fun.

What did they look like? or They're hiding in the fog! - Mikes right - they love it if you surprise them and join in Yup Thats BMXin - I remember it well, same as skateboards, moments of fun followed by hours of pain. It was great at the time though, just a pity I wasn't! The little 'uns just like to jump the wheels a bit, it's pretty harmless. Our village had some well known curb stones on drive entrances, that were just the right angle for a good take off. Sounds like you've got a "mini ramp" outside your house! Cool! Cheers, Harry
