They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I guess we could say Rowan's face is worth a thousand pictures.
Have you ever seen the skit where he meets the Queen and has the hilarious run-in with the fly on his pants?
But my all-time favorite is the one where he fixes himself a sandwich while sitting on a bench. Who needs a lettuce-spinner when you have socks?

I'm definately going to see it with the kids - they just love him, I've never heard my dad laugh so hard watching anything - he loves the Queen one too! My kids love the giant turkey episode - heck they love all of them
I heard that this movie was the last Mr. Bean movie and he was going to let the guy die off after that one! shame though - He's a very physical actor and a face only a mother could love ...

I love British comedy... when I was a kid I was a total Monty Python nut.. used to drive my teachers crazy doing all the accents from the show. Benny Hill was one of my favorites too along with Rowan. My wife loves all things BBC... thanks to cable TV we get plenty of shows from accross the pond.

My girls and I love Mr. Bean, too! We will be making a trip to the movies. I, too, loved Benny Hill. We videotaped all the TV episodes of Mr. Bean. I wonder if you can buy them on DVD now?

Now your talking KD, ;D Blackadder was A++ all the way through, Baldrick is a national Hero! Bean was amusing - the kids love it and it's good family viewing, but Blackadder et al any day of the week for me - and if it's great british comedy - then anything with Rik Mayal and Adrian Edmondson, Bottom being also of extreme amusement. Cheers for the Smile Harry.

We have the Black Adder series on DVD. Can only watch it in small doses because the ribs hurt too much and I need to be able to breathe.

In Blackadder III, Rowan plays a butler/aide to the incredibly stupid Crown Prince played by Hugh Laurie (now starring as Dr. House). I think late 80's was when this version came out.
Yes, Benny Hill and Monty Python rock!!
