Very nice Ed. I am in the middle of ripping out my bathroom and know what you went thru! I have to rip out the sub floors too as there is water damage. Gluing them is a good tip and will do the same. Hopefully mine will look as good as yours soon.

Stunning bathroom - nice fittings (I'll always go for dark wood).
Definately a place for a long bath and think about things.
Cheers Mark

Love the bathroom! Is the tall cabinet your work as well or did it come with the mirror ( )?

won't the wood warp in the humidity of the bath/shower or is that just an East coast thing?? nice looking job, Ed! don't forget some "before" shots of the kitchen!

Those are great looking cabinets You don't see that color very often as most people seem to gravitate to lighter woods but I love it. Did you make them or buy them? Can't tell what the wood is from the photos. I live on the east coast but don't know what KD was talking about with the warping. Almost all bathrooms around here have wood cabnetry and I rarely hear of warping problems. If we do its usually because the bathroom wasn't vented.

Thanks everyone. I have to confess though, I didn't make these cabinets. We were pressed for time and I still can't see my tablesaw. I ordered these from a place called www.rtacabi.net To tell you the truth, I couldn't make these for what I paid for them. The faceframes, doors, and drawer fronts are solid wood and the cabinet sides and shelves are plywood, not particleboard. They come with the doors attached to the face frames and you just assemble the box and attach the face frame. The finish could be a little better, but that's easy enough to fix. I'm thinking I might order the cabinets for our kitchen from them as well.

Nice bathroom job Ed! I like the tile work and the cabinets. They are a nice color. We are thinking of doing our kitchen pretty soon, so I may there right with ya. Steve

Looking real nice! I love the short window above the shower/bathtub! You can still let in natural light without having to worry about a curtain or putting in a window with that rippled glass for privacy! It's great to get bathrooms and kitchens redone......you feel like you're in a new house when it's done!

Dang Ed that is mighty fine- now make sure you put the seat down when your done! (I'm the only guy left in my house- I think my wife and daughter would give me a swirly if I left the seat up!)

Cabs, Cab(inets), you do very good work! I have a small bathroom, and I've been trying to figure out what the heck to do with it. Thanks for the inspiration! At this point, all I know for sure is that I can cut the tile (WF, Baby!!).
