Hello fellow RTH members,

The fifth & final group of ten entries submitted in the Poetry of Images Contest has just been posted.

A total of 50 poems were submitted for the contest. So that everyone here at RTH had the opportunity to enjoy each of these poems as much as I have, I offered just ten poems per day over the past four days—Saturday through Tuesday. Now it is time for the last group of ten.

Please feel welcome to post supportive critiques and comments about the poems in each of the five Poetry of Images Entries threads. (Everyone is welcome to post in these threads: the Contestants; the Lapidary Artists whose work is featured in the attributed photos; and all of the other members of RTH.) This is your chance to show support for your favorite Poet or poem (the supportive posts in each of the preceding threads have meant a lot to the contestants); indulge in shameless self-promotion if you authored one of the 50 poems; or campaign for votes for your favorite Poet or poem. The judging opens on Friday, August 31, 2007 (via PM to Lady B).

A pad of paper and a pen/pencil should be kept handy so you can jot down notes on your favorite poems in each thread.

Trust me on this…Keeping track of 21 Poets and 50 poems is not an easy task!

And Mother Earth smiled and welcomed me into her family. And I played with all the children in joy and peace forever as we all tumbled about.

Thanks for the OK, KD.

Sometimes it really does feel like a labor of love...the contractions around my heart and spirit can get pretty intense, but all these wonderful poems deserve compiled recognition. Hey, maybe if I can get a copy into hard print, it could become something like the Travelling Jade Book and RTHers could add their own comments and inspirations! Hmmmm...definitely something to think about.
