Well after a year of hounding I finally broke down and let my daughter get her own kitten. My one restriction was that she needed to get it from a shelter, which turned out to be a mistake. Apparently this shelter doesn't have a vet check their animals eventhough they say they do. Lily came to our house with fleas and one fo the worst cases of worms our vet has ever seen. She is being confined to the basement until we are sure she won't be able to give our other cat worms. She is quite the playful lovie cutie though. Caught in the act (of doing what I have no idea) That's my daughter some where behind there. Hey you! Thanks for looking.

Very cute! We got our cat, Clara, when she was 6 months old, at a discount because she didn't look like a kitten anymore, and now our daughter wants to know when she can have an itty bitty kitten....
She looks very tolerant of handling, too, very important in a kitten/cat for children!
Thanks for sharing.

What a cracking cat she is, really fab ears and great eyes - quite the sparkling character. She's really lovely, my eyes are almost that green with envy Give her a tickle behind the ears for me. Cheers, Harry.

That's a beautiful cat, your daughter is too. They will keep each other occupied for a good long time.

Hello Lily. What big eyes you have! And aren't you just a beauty, too!
Hope the nasty pests depart quickly and Lily gets to run and play all over her new domain!
