Hi everyone. I haven't been on for months and can't believe how the board has grown. I don't recognize most of the names. I've done a little reading and it sounds like the same great bunch of rock lovers.
I moved this summer and haven't touched my saw or grinder for months. I finally got my shop set up and cut a few slabs and made a few cabs today. I sure enjoyed it. Now I have a good place to work with everything together.
I finally listed a few new things on Ebay this week, but it looks like I need to learn to set up my Web site. Ebay has about priced it's self out of my price range. Is anyone here still selling on Ebay?
Hi to all my old friends and I hope to get acquainted with the new members. I just moved to the Country again. No DSL! I have had Dialup for the last two months so couldn't do anything. Just had WildBlue put in this week. Better than Dialup but doesn't compare with DSL.

Hi Trish, I'm one of the new ones around here! I remember having dial-up. It drove me crazy! We have become so dependant on the Internet...when I was a kid we had one telephone in the house. Because we lived in a big city (Philadelphia) our phone actually had a dial but we were on a party line. You could actually listen in on other people's conversations. We've come a long way since then. Now I can't imagine being without the Internet...I can connect to so many people, visit so many places, learn so many new things. I love being a part of RTH. I sure have been made to feel very welcome here. My hubby and I are just getting into all things rock. We have several dual 3# tumblers and a Work Force saw. We thought we were going to be the proud owners of a cabbing machine by now but we got scammed over at eBay and are now in litigation with PayPal. Someday though we'll have a cabber. My husband is really eager to work on cabs. Me, I'm still learning how to use the Work Force. Our "workshop" is our back yard. A bit hot right now and at times dangerous with the suddenous of Florida thunderstorms but soon it will cool down into the tolerable 80s and I will be able to play outside more often. I'm happy for you that you have your shop set up again. Look forward to seeing pictures of the cabs you were able to work. Everybody's creativity here is so inspiring. Well I've rambled on long enough! It's a pleasure to meet you. Welcome back to Active Duty at RTH. Lady B...

Thanks everyone for the welcome back! Great to be here.
My shop is not ready for pictures yet. It's still full of boxes to be unpacked, but it is wired and my grinder and saw is working. I still have to set up my light tent and lamps and learn to use my camera all over again. I should have some new pics before long.

Hi Arkie, Another newbie here, just wanted to say welcome back to the gang. I'm a lapsed polisher, I've got 3 tumblers, and since I've found these guys, I know they won't stop rolling again. Now.... were all agonising of the Poetry of Images Contest so wonderfully devised and executed by the marvellous LadyBeabea, so I see no reason why you should get away with it. So git clickin over on the contest board, and vote for one of the awesome poems presented by these wonderful folks. But I warn you.. It's not as easy as it sounds. Welcome back to the fold Trish, I'm happy to chat website design if your struggling, I'm no guru in html but I can help you find hosting space and produce a web presence if that's of any help to you. No super high speed here either "'aht in tha sticks", I count myself lucky to have a rubber band rather than broadband, but at least it's better than 56k. Cheers, Harry.

Thanks for the offer Harry. I have hosting space and Domain name. I just find if very hard to set up a decent Web site. I may be asking questions when I get around to trying to set it up.
Thanks, Trish
