Way cool!
We get the little ground squirrels here, commonly called chipmunks. Whenever I go camping they invade the campsite.
Very bold little guys. :)S

Wow, that black one is wicked looking! We have big grey squirrels and also the little chipmunks with the stripey tails. We refer to them as "timber tigers".

Squirrels are friendly little critters, especially if you have food in your hands. I have 2 in my yard that will eat out of my hand and another baby I'm raising.
I was camping in a park one time and started putting my food on a picnic table when a squirrel jumped on the table and attacked my bread sack. I shooed him off, put away the food and while the coffee was cooking, we shared peanut butter and crackers.
