As it's mostly good news the past few weeks...but it's all at once!
If all goes well and we agree on figures, it looks like I'll be moving back to the Kansas City area by the end of the month. The past two weeks have been a bit of a blur between phone interviews and a very fast trip up to KC for the in-person interview. I just got back last night after driving up there after work Monday night. Yup - 13.5 hours both ways, in less than 48 hours. I was just glad I got a normal night's sleep on Tuesday night before heading out early Wednesday morning for the return trip!
On top of that, car troubles resulted in the replacement of my tired truck. Normally, I'd be sad...but I LOVE my replacement! Hee hee! Granted, the Z71 will look a little out of place driving down the highway in KC, but I'm not moving back there without 4-wheel drive! One ice storm without it was too many!
Anyway, thought I'd give you an update on my scarcity the last few weeks. I should know by the end of next week whether I'm staying here or moving, and honestly, I can't decide which way I'd rather go!

ice storms are the worst, just remember ALL vehicles have 4-wheel brakes!
good luck on the move if you decide to go with the offer, don't forget to write!

An ice storm is not a good reason to buy a new truck. HAULING MORE ROCKS however, IS a good reason to buy it! Nona
