A woman, standing nude, looks in the bedroom mirror and says to her
husband, "I feel horrible, I look fat and ugly. Please pay me a compliment".
The husband replies, "Your eyesight's damn near perfect".
He never heard the shot...

You know, every wife I have ever had, somewhere, sometime, I have said something. I never remembered, but THEY did.
I have come to believe, it is not worth it to speak to a woman. They listen, then act. It is usually not what you said, or meant, and they always say, "look what I have done for you."
They do not mean to miss it. They really try. I just do not believe we live long enough to develop a language we both can understand completely.
