Yep Lady B nailed it,its the best and fairly much the only one.Lapidary Journal is out there but they have strayed from the lapidary part.
As a suggestion,in your travels both online and in the car.Look for back issues of Gems & Minerals magazine.That was the best publication ever for the all around lapidary.Alas they went under several years ago,but it quality remains over time and Gems & Minerals magazine was quality.

No wonder I couldn't find out how to subscribe to Gems and Minerals. Didn't no they went under. I did just subscribe to rock & gem.

Stacey, Gold Prospector magazine has some good articles. They did one on lakers a while back that was pretty interesting. The mag only has one or two non-gold articles each issue so it may not be worth it.

The California Mining Journal has some really good articles on rocks and minerals every now and then.
