I dont know its because he isnt well known in the UK or its just that I've never heard of him - but I just discovered Weird Al Yankovic's music parodies - their hilarious
The Star Wars - Saga Begins is my favourite closely followed by Amish Paradise.

Aw man, it's been AGES since i've heard Weird Al! ;D Beverly Hillbillies, Fat, Yoda, When I Was Your Age, all great classics. Oh, and if you like Weird Al, you'll love the feature length movie, "UHF"! Put down your remote control, throw out your TV guide Put away your jecket, there's no need to go outside
Don't ya know that we control the horizontal We control the vertical too We're gonna make a couch potato out of you That's what we're going to do now
Don't change the channel Dont touch that dial We got it all on UHF...

Here's a hillarious sort of a break-up song, it's a ballad, not sure if it's a parody though...?
You Don't Love Me Anymore

His movie, "Vidiot from UHF"...hilarious! One of those "It has to be late at night, you need to be really tired, you need to be with good friends and have a warped sense of humour" movies.
Stanely Spidowski's Clubhouse Wheel of Fish Conan the Librarian Spatula City
Ah the memories come flooding back.

Weird Al is great. I have his new CD and its his best in a while. Gotta love a song called "Weasel Stomping Day" Unless you belong to PETA, then you might enjoy Pancreas instead.

Rose, he has been around for ages here in the United States. I think he is a total crack- up! I haven't seen the star wars and Amish video, they are hilarious! I have a sister that lives a few miles away from Lancaster PA and will have to send that to her. thanks for posting this.
