holy shit i seen many a crotch rocket flying around alot faster then they should -- there a very fast bike and most people dont know how to handle the speed -- and thats the kinda thing that happens
my first full size bike was only a 350 honda i was about 15 or 16 and my dad bought it for me from a guy across the street and before my first ride i was ready to put the helmet on and he says -- as soon as you feel your the master over that bike or any bike thats when your in trouble -- he had bikes as a young guy a harley and an indian and i never forgot that sentence

Sad, notice it is also Rice. The poor trucker, the man probably made his life miserable, not to mention he now lives with that. It wasn' his fault, but he lives with it anyway. I can just see the new laws getting ready to be made. All the Colnel Blimps making much ado and legislating common sense, their common sense. Doesn't look like the helmet made much difference either. Sad, sad, sad. Everyone suffers. The rider had a family somewhere, the trucker will never be the same, some tumbler is going to get his tumbler late. Everyone suffers. I have almost 250,000 two wheel miles under me. I have gone from Barrow Ak, to Key West Fl. Never do that again, went from the beginning of Rt. 1 to MM 0 In Key West, all on Rt. 1 just to say I did it. I always remembered I was just a tad smaller than the big boys. I did some stupid things and I survived, luckily, sometimes barely. The whole thing is sad, so very sad.

Here I am (idiot) trying to click the picture to get a better look and then realize that I don't really want to see anything closer up - that's just sad - for the trucker AND the rider
Those trucks are big enough, you'd think he could see it - I also heard that someone ridding close up could get decapitated by flying tire scraps!

The background on this story is the motorcycle rider ran into the back of the truck - not paying attention & driving way to fast. The cops had to flag the truck driver down because he never even felt the guy hit him. It went around the EMS circles a few years back as well. Let's just say, I heard more than I wanted to about the accident.
