Cookie, do not tell Mark that! He will suddenly see and fight his way out of his nacele and will only be able to travel through telephone jacks. The forum will suddenly disappear and Morpheous will be having a fight with someone at hyper speed, and the electricals will send someone to stick wood sticks in peoples heads and they will have to swim to a beach and bap each other on the head with aluminum cylinders that have some bizarre clothes and turn into eating containers. He is happy where he is. We will keep our secrets and keep the electricals fed with other peoples inner thoughts. Who Knew?

I don't know much about much...never been much of anywhere, never met much of anyone...but I fell into this site and wow...it's like home...if home were filled with obsessive rock types who lick stones and talk about how big their vibes are. Mark, thank you. I started out trying to roll rocks in a pvc pipe with no water and sand as grit...didn't know why it wasn't working. So I did a search on the evil search engines and your site came up. It showed me they way, the truth, the light. And I've stayed through the weirdness and the fun and, god help me, I think I'm beginning to understand what doc is talking about. Good job. Great job actually. I'm glad you were there for me...maybe someday I'll get to return the favor.

This life & world as we know it, is governed by certain Universal Laws independent of whether we are aware of them or not. There has never been an injustice anywhere in this physical time/space reality or anywhere else for that matter. Make no mistake - there are no mistakes, nor are there any accidents either.
Mark began this board with the intention to help others. Those seeking the help he was offering were drawn to this very place. Like attracts like.
As each member grows in knowledge & experience, they (with gratitude for what they were given) freely give back to the board in their own unique ways. This is what makes the board what it is today.
Isn't it amazing to see what one man's idea, put into action, can become? Thank you, Mark, for being who you are. And the same goes for everyone else here.

Jeepers, we did have some fun with this one. I belong to several avaition forums. I design aircraft for fun and frustration. I haven't even been to those forums as they just seemed to go from creating and reaching out to griping, and throwing stones. We have few gripers here. Mostly discovery, art, and new approaches to some radical stuff. Mark has done some good work here. Now he is going to be a father! I bet it will be just like the Truman Show plus! It is going to be great! We will have to have a seperate link for that. It will be an history. Ya did good Mark.

I have had a love of rocks all my life. I didn't start tumbling until May 2003. It was a reaction to a loss of someone close to me. My Mother died in 1996. My Father died in 2000 and my Father-in-law in 2003. In between it seemed like many dear friends died. All of a sudden my husband and myself find ourselves the "older generation" While we have 3 grown children and 10 grandchildren we don't feel old enough to be "old" anything!! I am 53 and my husband is 55 and that sure doesn't feel old!! Rocks seem to ground me and from a start of a Lortone 33B I now run 2 12lbers 1 double 6er and the 33B so I have 6 tumblers going at all times. My father had a tumbler back in the 60's that he loved. We now live in a 100+ year old house that my parents bought in the 50's. We are renovating it so life is very hectic but in the midst of the chaos the tumblers continue to turn and I continue to find peace !! Sorry to ramble on but this web site is an anchor to my love of all things rock related. I have been a member of this site since November 2003. My thanks to Mark for starting and keeping this site going. My thanks to all who post so I might peek(lurk) as I seldom have time to post. The pictures of everything are inspiring. Keep it up. You never know how much influence you have or how much what seems trivial to you helps others!!
Thanks for letting me ramble on Dorothy

Baz- If you want to know the whole story go back in the Life Universe and Everything else section- Go way back into the begining and read about Doc and his adventures in Alaska- I think the Andy/ Mark thing happened just after that thread- Ohh what a confusing time it was! Oh and Pinemountain- well not much hope for ya-

So long as Andy/Mark doesn't become Beth or Sarah everything is alright eh? Not that there is anything wrong with that. <-- Jerry Seinfeld just typed that, not me.
