I got a cheapy Craftsman 150 MPH one- I like it for blowing off the roof at camp- also great for blowing out the garage floor- Never really used it on leaves (I'm with KD- I just mow em into the lawn)

i have three trees, but my neighbor's yard is full of trees. plus i need to blow them of the pool cover. the last blower i just threw out was a craftsman hand held that had a sticker on it that stated it had a 40 hour use life. it lasted two summers

My grandfather used to mow his grass shorter than the neighbors' so the leaves would collect in THEIR yards.
Not saying you don't need a blower, this thread just made me remember that funny story.

update on this one, last week i saw this particular unit in action. and wow, i got to say, it was almost surreal. this guy was the Emperor of the Wind and he was driving a whole yard full of leaves and the smile on his face was incredible.
i'll bet if you bought one of these, you'd do your neighbors yard just for the freaking feeling of power!

I'd rather have a 747 buzzin' the house at treetop level!
All you hear around here nine months a year is those friggin' machines.

I bought a 240mph blower/vacuum to blow of the Harley after I wash it and the thing works great! it's the Toro Electric Ultra Blower The vacuum multches leaves perfect. and it was 230 cheaper than the one you want.

i would need a 200 foot cord to do the leaves. i need something that will blow them from the back yard to the street for pickup. it will be cheaper than reseeding the back yard every spring from the leaves killing the grass
