Went in to see the doctor because of shoulder pain. Was sent to physcial therapy but that made it worse. Was sent to the orthopedic surgeon and he said...operate!!!
So...the official word is we do the surgery on my right rotator cuff on November 27th. Will start physcial therapy a week after surgery. Be happy when it's all over with.....
Then I can pick up rocks again...

You'll feel like a different man, Tom! Will this also help your dizziness? (This doesn't mean you get your saw back. )

I occasionally have problems with my rotator cups too. My ball is too small for the socket and needs the tendons to work overtime to keep the shoulder together. No surgery for me though, just exercises. Hope your back up to speed in no time.

Sorry to hear about the need for surgery. Just do everything the doctor says, OK, so you can get better fast? That doesn't include hospital food, though. Get Anita to smuggle you in some good stuff. ;D I'll make chocolate chip cookies if you'd like, but I'll need your addy.

About 4 years ago I had R C surgery in my right shoulder...what ever you do...do what the DR,s say your first two days are the worst...hang tough...but
most of all, don't wait for the pain before you take your pills...it's to late...for the first 3-4 days take the pain pills as mentioned...you just can't hurry this operation...it will hurt for a while...but I feel better now than I had 10 years before my operation..
good luck..
