i've been stuck in a remodeling project now for almost 6 mos. it has been a mess...sweep, dust, sweep, dust...and trying to find anything is out. furniture moved from a heap in one room to another, books piled in stacks. but the floor man has given me the most trouble....maybe because he lives here but he really is getting on my nerves at this point . we took a wall out then there was painting i stuck the floor man all alone thinking he would get the picture that i was unhappy with him but it didn't seem to phase him then i told him we were going to have to rent an apartment and fill it with the furniture that was going to eventually come here so we could have FLOORS to put our christmas tree on...and the grinches heart grew 3 sizes that day ;D hooch is in shock and peers through the window to see all the cats are in shock but willow brought a stuffed polar bear in to see too now here is where i sit...that's right i had to jump a table and squeeze past a chair but since we've been doing that now for 6 mos i'm getting good at it so i am very thankful today to see something going on this concrete. happy thanksgiving to all of you! kim

Oh Kim! From where you all started to where it's gonna end up it'll be worth the hassel.
What a beautiful space it's gonna be!

Damn those floor guys! ;D I love the pic with his easy chair, the remote, and his shoes sitting in the middle of the room. I'm glad to see progress is being made. All you really needed to do is cut the plug on the vending machines, that would have gotten him motivated. ;D ;D
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ps. I too am being thankful. The guy that I have doing our kitchen installed the granite counter tops last weekend and will install the tile floor tomorrow! No more frozen dinners and pot pies. I'll take some pics so you can see what a completely finished floor looks like! ;D

That is going to look NICE! Here's a tip for next time: hide the remote under all the uninstalled tile... Just a thought!
