Just wondering if anyone has seen this movie. All of the Netflix reviews gave it 1 to 2 stars but I was looking for other opinons. The reason I want to see this movie is because it was filmed in the Flagstaff area but if it was that terrible I guess I won't waste my time!

;D ;D I wondered what that film crew was doing each morning when we were at Burro Creek ---- if it has some picnic tables and a bunch of "hairy guys" running around then it was just us out "rock hunting" ! ;D

Are there frequent sightings of Sasquatch around Flagstaff? Doesn't seem like his usual deep woods haunt to me. ;D

;D ( catmandewe) ---yea! he was the one with all those big rocks he was carrying around camp and putting them in a trailer! ;D ( tonyterner) -- where would you go on vacation if you lived in the mountains for the rest of the year ? ;D --- saw a map of reportings the other day and they were all over, from the middle of colorado to texas and on west -- winter in the south and summer in the north

There is a lot more deep woods up here than most realize, not like the Northwest but there is a lot of good places to go get lost in North AZ! ;D

I've been through Flagstaff and the area around it. Pretty area, I loved visiting AZ. I know that big foot is seen everywhere, even here in PA where the largest piece of forest is about 4 square feet. LOL

haha, Arizona sasquatch.... However, I did know that AZ has forests; my dad fought a forest fire there many years ago, near Superstition Mt. (I think??) And, FYI, Nebraska does have a State Forest; I could not believe that, until I saw it on a high school camp thing. I think all the trees were planted; they were in pretty straight rows. LOL, all the hairy guys running around; you don't want to know the picture that brought to mind!

I saw one once in the Okanagan when I lived there (British Columbia, not Wa). This happened late at night in the Carmi district up in the back hills between Penticton and Kelowna BC in late summer 1993. It was my last pizza delivery of the shift, somewhere between 12-1am and I was really just looking forward to cashing out for the night, counting my tips and going home. I was coming around a switchback on my way back down the mountain when it bolted right across the road in front of me in no more than two steps and under a second flat, like no human could possibly move. Scared the bloody bejeezus outta me too, I slammed on the brakes even though it was long gone and I just sat there for what seemed like a full minute or more trying to comprehend what the hell just happened. I never got up the nerve to get out of the car and go have a look around for anything though, even though I had a halogen spotlight, I just wanted to get the hell out of there and get back to civilization ASAP where mythical creatures aren't running around at random late at night. It took me a week before I could even go back there in the day time but I wanted to look for some indication it actually happened and I wasn't just halucinating from the jalepeno fumes coming off the house specials. I have to admitt though, up until I actually saw one I was fairly skeptical about their existence, with no corporeal proof of them presented to science so far despite the efforts of so many who have dedicated most of their lives to finding such proof. The form and size of it was unmistakeable even in the dark but I only really caught a glimpse of it in my headlights (because I was coming around a switchback). I never told anyone about it for years after, I just went back to the shop, cashed out, closed up and went home. I didn't think anyone would believe me anyway and thought if I told my boss what happened he'd probably think I was high or something and fire me. ;D Now nobody believes me when I tell them it happened because I never said anything for so long. If anyone is interested in this, check out the area in Google Earth. Here are the exact co-ords to the switchback where this occurred: N49.4808 W119.5236Sorry about the crumby map reolution in the area but as you can tell, it's pretty wild area with little human activity beyond. This also happened before the Garnet fire which devasted the area in 1994 and the map now depicts the more modern post-Garnet landscape, mostly stripped of the rich Ponderosa Pine ecosystem that flourished here at the time in question. Zoom in enough to see the road names and you can follow this. I was coming around the corner clockwise (down the hill) toward the west on Carmi Rd. Sasquatch went from west to east across the road after the marker but before Daloc Rd. This is the first time I have actually shown anyone the exact place too.
