The surgery to fix my rotator cuff went very well. Doc said I had a bone spur that he removed and he did some other stuff while he was in there. I can't remember all he said but he did say it was not as bad as he first thought. There were no tears at all so that will make recovery a lot easier.
Had a bit of a rough time coming out of the happy juice they supplied me with. Threw up in the recovery room.....but am fine now. At home resting well with almost no pain in the shoulder.
Am following all the instructions I was given, which is somethng new for me....
Will keep ya informed as I go along. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers....
Tom

Whew! 30yrs ago, when I trashed my shoulder, they wanted to amputate. I am glad I walked out, and glad you went through ok. Who cares if you blew lunch. At the price of an hospital stay it was the least you could do. Glad you made it.

Glad to hear it, Tom. It's funny, when I read your message "there were no tears at all," I thought it was strange you were telling us that you didn't cry! Then I bonked myself in the head and said "oh, no tears -- as in rips or serious damage."

Glad to hear your surgery went OK - I know someone who had a similar op and it really made things a lot better. Have a good rest and you'll be a new man!!

Happy to hear you are doing well. Coming out of the happy juice is never fun. I blew chunks too hehehe. LadyB, I think I would like to see a thread on your occupations alone, I think it would be interesting LOL. Shannon
